Files, folders and the Recycle Bin
Open Files from the taskbar or press Windows + E. It works like File Explorer: your folders on the left, tabs along the top for several folders at once, and file extensions hidden so names stay tidy.
Your folders
Section titled “Your folders”Your files live in your Home folder, in the folders you’d expect: Desktop, Documents, Downloads, Music, Pictures and Videos.
Windows programs in Windows mode save straight into the same folders, so a document you save in Word is in Documents, ready for any app.
The Recycle Bin
Section titled “The Recycle Bin”Deleting a file moves it to the Recycle Bin, where you can restore it. Empty the bin to free the space for good.
Freeing up space
Section titled “Freeing up space”Settings > System > Storage shows what’s using your disk and lets you empty the Recycle Bin. The biggest savings are usually in Downloads, and in Windows mode if you set it up.
USB sticks and drives
Section titled “USB sticks and drives”Plug one in and it appears in Files on the left. The first time you plug in a new device, Wild OS may ask you to allow it. See USB devices.
Compressed files
Section titled “Compressed files”Double-click a .zip or other archive to open it, or right-click and extract it.
