Try Wild OS without installing

Choose Try Wild OS on the start menu and you get the full desktop running from the stick. Nothing on your computer’s disk changes, and when you restart without the stick your computer is exactly as it was.

It’s the best way to check Wild OS works on your hardware before you install. Things worth trying:

• Wi-Fi: does it see your network and connect?
• Sound, and the volume and brightness keys.
• Touchpad scrolling and clicking.
• An external monitor, if you use one.
• Closing the lid and opening it again.
• The battery percentage in the tray.

Anything you save in the trial is gone when you restart, and it runs a little slower than an installed system because it reads from the stick.

Install from the trial

Open Install Wild OS on the desktop. You can keep using the trial while it installs.
